Dear brothers and sisters,

I joined the Chinese Church Leaders Conference of Europe in Dublin on 6-9/10 and learnt a lot in a few days.

Pastor Cedric Chau shared his church in our Easter Conference a few years ago, I’m very glad that I can see how God has blessed the Dublin Chinese Gospel Church with my own eyes.

The speaker of the Conference was Dr Stephen Lee, the President of the China Graduate School of Theology. He spoke on the theme of ‘Strangers walking with God’, and there’re nine different workshops. I was much refreshed from the Word of God on the actual circumstances of the ministry of Chinese Churches in Europe.

I came to know the Roman Chinese Church, the fastest growing church in Europe, many brothers and sisters are lay workers serving in the church, the 40+ participants are all from Wenzhou. They gave us a full picture of the incident of the teardown of crosses and churches in Wenzhou during the group discussion. Let us continue to pray for the Christians and gospel work in China.

I met some ex-CCCCers there as well. Mr and Mrs Ng Chung Chun, they are now working as missionaries in Germany. Joanna, who accepted Christ in Cardiff in early 2000 has joined OMF and is now serving the minority groups in Glasgow.

Finally, I have to thank the Lord for the loving care of the Dublin brothers and sisters, they have taken care of us faithfully in big and small things. They rent a café and a shop to serve the church and the Chinese community. May the Lord continue to bless them.

In Him
Sam Wong
