Dear brothers and sisters,
The great armed forces, magnificent buildings, cultural and arts exhibitions & performances, all have contributed to the majestic demeanour of London!
I have attended the Board meeting of the London Christian Centre for Gambling Rehabilitation (CCGR) last Saturday (13/6). It helped us to understand the Centre’s works and financial situation, and to review the plan & follow up work of the Second Pan Europe Christian Conference for Gambling Rehabilitation. We have also discussed how to help those Chinese who were trapped in their gambling addiction to give up gambling and believe in Jesus.
Thank God that the co-workers and board directors of the CCGR have been working together to spread the Gospel among the Chinese gamblers in different cities in the UK! 4 brothers from Wales have attended the CCGR’s second conference. They have formed a “Support Group” in the Monday 11am Bible Study group, aiming to provide mutual helps & supports amongst the brothers, encouraging each other, build up the faith, and to overcome the temptation & attack from Satan!
The Fujian Fellowship has shared a topic on “a beloved person”- Christians Joyful Life, on 15/6 (Mon) afternoon. Christian joy is deep-rooted in the Truth. To be loved by everyone is also living in the truth; it is not “selfish ambition & dissensions”, creating small circles. God created mankind in his own image, nothing in this world can be compared to its worth. Episodes of aggressive outbursts resulting from lacking of impulse control will damage our interpersonal-relationships. Take note of this: “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry!”
