Dear brothers and sisters,
Last Wednesday, I was very excited to meet up with some schoolmates whom I lost contact for 40 years. We were a bit hesitated when we greeted each other. I could recognize most of their faces but not the names. Once each introduced the name, all memories of those years came back!
But no one recognized me, even after I introduced myself, until my laughter proved that I was the same Sam Wong! I met Christina (an ex-CCCCer of the 80s) there unexpectedly.
I
attended a wedding ceremony on Saturday 5/9. They studied and met in Cardiff, fell in love with each other and went back to Hong Kong after graduation. They made vows before God and men, counting blessings, and decided to let Jesus Christ head their lives. I’m also thinking of those couples who met and became lovers in Cardiff as I’m writing this letter. (>10)
Carys has fallen sick. She’s feverish and life patterns changed. The active food-lover lost appetite and clung to her bed! Praise the Lord that she’s smiling in her illness. The Lord has granted her a joyful heart. Thank God that she’s revering now.
‘Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances.’ (1 The 5:16-18)
In Him,
Sam Wong
