Dear brothers and sisters,

There’s a collection for Mission Work in the first Sunday Service of each month to let Christians to support gospel work in Britain and overseas.311015a

We prayed for the local and overseas missionaries in the Mission Prayer Meeting on Wednesday 21/10. There are different difficulties and challenges in different mission fields, as well as attacks from Satan, and we can claim victory only through prayers. I’m glad to see some young people who are equipping themselves to be soldiers of the Lord. I pray that more young people can have the vision and respond to the Lord’s calling courageously, ‘Here I am, send me!’

COCM has arranged a co-worker to speak in our Putonghua service on 25/10. We thank the Lord for these young people who willingly leave everything to serve the Lord, busily sharing the gospel in Britain and Europe.

311015bThere are over 160 universities in Britain, each with hundreds or even thousands of Chinese students who come over from China or Southeast Asia to study here year by year. This is a ‘golden era’ for us to share the gospel with them. Let us grasp the opportunity to work more zealously for the Lord to heap His harvest.

The harvest is plentiful but where are the workers? I visited the people in the valley this week and passed through University of South Wales on A470. Those were the days!

Now I slightly understand Paul’s words, ‘I planned many times to come to you in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles. I am a debtor both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish.’ (Romans 1:13-14)

In Him,
Sam Wong
