Dear brothers and sisters,
The Cantonese Gospel Meetings have been held on 2/11 afternoon and 3/11 evening. Kim and Eddie shared their testimonies on leading an abundant life over difficulties with the company of the Lord Jesus all the way.
The gospel is the power of God. It fills our hearts with living water and burns our impurities like fire. Through the different stages of life experience, we understand that we cannot change the past but we can prevent making the same in the future. We have to stand firm in our faith, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him. Jesus Christ is the only way, the absolute truth and the eternal life. He has come that we may have life, and have it to the full.
The English and Putonghua groups met and planned the direction of ministries in their meetings on Wednesday respectively. 2016 will be a crucial year for these two language groups. The Putonghua children will gradually join the English group in the next couple of years.
The Christmas Baptismal class has started. It’s a spiritual warfare. Participants need to write down their testimonies and start their daily quiet time on God’s Word and prayers. It’s not only a weekly course but a daily practice. Seeing the serious learning attitude of the three elderly participants, I truly believe that the gospel is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.
