The Putonghua Service has changed their worship time from 9:30 to 12:30 from starting last Sunday.
The Cantonese congregation is very happy, with lots of parking spaces, but the Service started late because of the preparation of the PC system, computer and projector. The Putonghua congregation used to have set up everything for the Cantonese group, now it’s the other round!
We need some time to get used to the change of Service times, I need to adjust to the change myself. Please remind me to sing the closing hymn at 12:10, but how can we end the Service while I haven’t finished the Mr Peter Lee attended the Cantonese and Putonghua Bible studies with me last week, in believers’ homes and the church, and the Putonghua sub-committee meeting on Tuesday night, so that he can have a clearer picture of the different ministries of the church, and pray together for brothers and sisters and the gospel work.
Scotland had the independence referendum on Thursday, it’s become the spot-light of the whole political world. Many Christians prayed about it. There’s no right or wrong to be independent, just different views. The main concern is that the Scottish people can vote in a just, fair and open way to voice their opinion. The final decision relies on the votes and everyone has to accept it peacefully though some may be Will Wales have an independence referendum?
