Dear brothers and sisters,
The Mission sub-committee held a meeting and prayer meeting last Saturday. In order to encourage brothers and sisters to know more about the missionaries supported by the church, we encourage each Bible Study group and fellowship to specially care and pray for 1 or 2 missionaries. We prayed particularly for the refugees from Syria. They will scatter in different parts of Europe. Pray that they can have the chance to hear and believe in the gospel.
The Putonghua Service has moved to 12.30 starting last Sunday. Since we don’t need to leave the Main Hall by 2 o’clock, the whole meeting ran more smoothly. But we need to work together to enjoy the spiritual rest in the Service.
Special thanks to the love and understanding of the Cantonese and English congregations for agreeing to start the Sunday Service 15 minutes earlier from 14/2. There will be a bit more time-gap between the two Services, so brothers and sisters serving in different roles can have more time for preparation.
The university students are busy preparing for their exams. Pray that they can have good health, and wisdom and peace from above, and that they won’t forget to draw close to God and look upon Him in this busy time.
It’s getting colder every day. Remember to keep warm and take care.
