Dear brothers and sisters,

270116The teachers and students started their second term of the Chinese School last week. Learning Chinese is really hard, teaching Chinese is not easy either. We thank the Lord for the dedicated teachers and lovely children, and we need to continue praying for the gospel work among the students and their families.

Last Sunday was the busiest day recently. I left home at 10am and returned home after 11pm with service after service and visitation after visitation and a council meeting in the evening. Then I realized I hadn’t had lunch or dinner yet. I did not feel hungry but joyful. (Mark 6:31) Praise the Lord for His grace!

270116aThe first Fujian Fellowship meeting was held last Monday. The whole meeting became lively with a pianist (from outside assistance) and a support singer. We are praying for the preparative work of the children choir.

Praise the Lord, in the last few years, some students from the Royal Music College joined our student fellowship. Some of them became Christians and some Christians grew spiritually, and they served the Lord together. Last Wednesday, I was invited to their Musical ‘Brush up your Shakespeare’. Members of our fellowship played some important roles in it. It’s a wonderful performance. I think I’m still reveling in some of the scenes.
Winter has come, will it snow? Many are expecting. Peace be with you!

In Him,
Sam Wong
