Dear brothers and sisters,  251215b

I watched a film ‘Courageous’ in the Student fellowship last Friday. It’s about how a group of policemen fulfilled their duties as a husband and a father in different situations. The film started with a man chasing a thief who stole his car in a petrol station. He stopped the car after his greatest effort, not for the car, but to ensure the safety of the baby boy at the back seat. Life won’t be that simple. There are so many challenges to train a man into maturity.251215

Swansea Church held their first Baptismal Service in their new church building last Sunday. Some ex-students from other parts of Britain attended the Service and witnessed the four sisters’ testimonies. Praise the Lord, brothers and sisters are growing spiritually and serving in different roles. We all enjoy a good time of fellowship and sharing over the meal after the Service.

251215aThe Fujian Fellowship held their Christmas celebration last Monday. I was thrilled to see the children playing different roles in the Nativity and spoke with clear articulation, rewarding their parent’s effort in the last few weeks.

‘This good news will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.’ (Luke 2:10-11)

Have a blessed Christmas and happy New Year.

In Him,
Sam Wong
