Dear brothers and sisters,
Singing praises to the Lord is a wonderful moment in the Sunday Service. A song with lively lyrics and a beautiful melody brings comfort and strength to worshippers’ hearts. We can have a taste of the heavenly banquet when we sing it with one voice and musical instruments.
The Cantonese and Putonghua worship team has their practice every Monday, and the English worship team holds a workshop every other Friday, so that brothers and sisters who are interest in music can serve the Lord and the congregation through this ministry. The most beautiful worship is seeing only Jesus. The unaware infiltration of flesh and lust is the greatest hurt to worship.
Praise the Lord for raising Christian composers and lyricists all over the world to build up believers and share the gospel in different languages, glory be to the Lord.
Brothers and sisters have been busy doing visitation this week to show concern to the community and to invite them to the gospel meetings next Monday and Tuesday. There are visitations to build up friendships and to prepare the way to share the gospel. Visitation work is hard, either we broke friendships when we share the gospel, or we are always trying to build up friendships but never get the chance to share the gospel. May the Lord grant us faith and wisdom!
‘But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.’ (1 Peter 3:15)
In Christ,
Sam Wong
