Dear brothers and sisters,
I got to know a lady after the Fujian Fellowship last Monday (19/10). She didn’t know there is a Chinese Church in Cardiff until her non-believer husband found out and encouraged her to come. She also took 2 kids to the church activities. She said, ‘I have come to the church for 3 consecutive days: Saturday Putonghua meeting of the Chinese school, Sunday Service and today’s fellowship. I heard pastor’s three sermons which has compensated those days without listening to His Word!’
The Cantonese Group will hold gospel meetings on November 2nd-3rd. The theme is ‘Abundant Life overcoming difficulties’. Brothers and sisters are busy doing preparations for the challenge. The visitation team will do their invitation and care work to different areas while the Monday and Tuesday Bible Study groups are practicing songs. Let us pray earnestly for Kim and Eddie as they’re sharing their testimonies. Let us pray for the friends invited for this meeting and the guidance and work of the Holy Spirit.
The Friday Morning Café has started again. Praise the Lord for the partnership of brothers and sisters. There are some new-comers. We have ‘Praise Dance’ and Bible study to accommodate different needs of the participant. I’d like to give special thanks to Uncle Nin for cooking delicious congee and noodles for us every Friday.
The church renovation work is still in progress. The organ was removed and there are now additional seats to cater more new friends and believers. We are also trying the new heating system, and there will be installation of a new projector. Let us get close to the Lord in His court and He’ll come close to us! (Jam 4:8)
