Dear brothers and sisters,
Seven brothers and sisters got baptized in the Easter Baptismal Sunday on 5/4, witnessing ‘the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.’ They bravely shared their hearts and proclaimed the unusual experience in life: that Jesus Christ died on the cross and forgave their sins. It’s the power of Christ’s resurrection that renews their lives. True, ‘If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come, the old has gone, the new is here.’
Are you willing to follow Jesus Christ forever with no turning back?
Some brothers and sisters from Swansea joined our Baptismal Service in the morning, and some of us went to Swansea to join theirs in the afternoon. Three brothers and sisters got baptized there: one is an overseas student, one came from Fujian, and one lady came from Hong Kong many years ago. They have walked through different paths of life, but they all met Jesus and believed in Him. ‘to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of God.’ We are now all in the Family of Jesus Christ.
While we were leaving, the Swansea students invited us to try their famous ice cream, how could we resist it? There was a long queue outside this small ice cream shop, the taste is as good as its reputation.
True, We Christians must have genuine faith and acts to witness the greatness and power of gospel of Jesus Christ!
