Dear brothers and sisters,
Elder Victor and I went cycling along River Taff to Castell Coah with some students last Saturday after the Chinese Class. We set off at the Royal Academy of Music in the gloomy weather but we thanked the Lord for there’s no rain or snow. All the girls reached the destination without taking a rest, some boys wanted to continue their journey to Caerphilly Castle but due to the slippery road, the plan was postponed to spring. We spent 2 hours for the 20 km, and my legs became sore. Praise the Lord, I arrived City Road when it started to rain, and it poured when I opened my front door.
I declined a few invitations from the Bristol CCC due to the busy schedule in 2015, so I was excited worshipping the Lord with them last Sunday. They’re praying for a pastor. It’s good chatting with some old friends after the Service, remembering and blessing each other.
We have 2 ping-pong sessions on Monday and Tuesday afternoons, and we plan to add another session on Monday evening to cater for those who work in the day. This tiny ‘ball’ has broken a lot of barriers among the men, building up fellowship as well as the bridge for gospel. I love ping-pong.
Thanks to all those who have organized the Wednesday badminton team to serve the students. I like badminton, the sweating feeling, the hot bath and the good sleep.
We prayed for every member of the Student fellowship in last Tuesday’s meeting, and remembered all the students who came to our church meetings, they’re in our cycling team, ping-pong and badminton groups.
May you all enjoy good health and strength to serve the Lord!
In Him,
Sam Wong
