Dear brothers and sisters,
Farewell is both an excited and sad moment. I still remember the picture when these graduates first came to Cardiff, and 3 years and 5 years went by so swiftly. You’re leaving Cardiff soon and approaching a new phase in life. Though we won’t be living in the same city, we’re living together in Christ forever.
The English and Cantonese Student Fellowships held BBQ Farewells for the graduates on 30/5 and 6/6 respectively, counting the Lord’s blessings together and saying goodbye, offering thanks to the Lord and blessing each other.
The church had neglected the needs of the working brothers and sisters in the past. With the grace of the Lord, the English Young Adults Fellowship and the Thursday PTH Bible Study group are growing recently, with regular attendants and good fellowship, pursuing growth spiritually and serving in the church.
A PTH friend who attended the Thursday Bible Study bravely raised his hand to receive the Lord as his Savior in last Sunday’s Gospel Service. Praise the Lord.
Due to the increase of participants, the Tuesday evening Cantonese Bible Study group for working people split and the new one meets on Monday mid-day, catering for those who are off on Mondays.
These brothers and sisters are facing a lot of stress in their work, their family, children and relationships. They need companies to walk the Heavenly path together, building up on the Word of God, encouraging each other, giving thanks in all circumstances, confess to each other and pray for each other. May God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
‘Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.’ (2Tim 2:22)
In Him,
Sam Wong
