4th December, 2015
Dear brothers and sisters,
It’s December now, and we set our minds on the birth of the Lord Jesus. The ethnic groups of Cardiff celebrated Christmas together with worship and dinner and fellowship last Friday, and the Youth Group and Olive Tree presented an English song He Is God and a Cantonese hymn. A group of local Christians attended the meeting too. I chatted with them and admired their care and help to the minority groups and their zeal in sharing the gospel among them.
The Monday Bible Studies will meet and eat together in individual’s houses on the fifth Monday of the month. It’s a precious time of fellowship and opportunity to invite non-believers to understand our faith. The Lord Jesus said, ‘By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.’ (John 13:35)
Many brothers and sisters attended the Carol Singing in Cardiff Arms Park on Thursday (3/12). 3000 people joined in the wind and rain and sang many classic Christmas carols together with the orchestra. What an experience! Many were encouraged and touched.
Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Every meeting in December is a gospel meeting. Let us invite our friends to come and know the Lord and enjoy an abundant life.
In Him,
Sam Wong
