25th February, 2016

Dear brothers and sisters,

HighlightI continued to lead a Baptismal Class after the PTH day Service on 21st February. It is one of my favourite ministries. We started to allow brothers and sisters baptized in other churches to sit-in in the previous Baptismal Class, and this time we have two. The most important experience in our life is to be born again, “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (John 17:3) To know not the knowledge on handouts, but the way to communicate with the Lord and let Him live in us, so that we may live in Him! Are you born again?

The Parents Meeting Sub-committee met on Saturday 20th February. The Saturday Fellowship will comprise of sermons, workshops, hymns and group discussions. Discussion topics include family life, relationship between parents and children, challenges in workplace etc. Parents can share and pray for each other. The Jesus in Luke cares for women, children, the vulnerable and people on the brink. Let’s pray for the different Chinese people in Cardiff.Highlight2

I met a group of exchange students from Hong Kong this week. I felt warm yet a bit distant talking with them. Our mutual topic is the attractions of different UK cities. What is the highlight in Cardiff? Down the Llandaff Road, where a group of God’s people meets!

The Cantonese Sub-committee held their last meeting of the 2015-16 on Wednesday 24th February. Each department counted God’s grace in their reports, and they planned for the 2016-17 ministries.
Please pray for the March visitation of the Chinese community in the 12 villages in the valley.

Peace be with you.

In Him,
Sam Wong
