Dear brothers and sisters,

SpreadGospelThe London Chinese Church short-term mission team came to our Cantonese Service last Sunday, doing visitation and flyer-distribution for the Gospel meetings on Monday and Tuesday. Brothers and sisters of both churches work together closely in different roles to spread the Gospel in the era of end times.

SpreadGospel2The Chinese Class and Bible Class had their teachers meeting last Saturday, there are over 170 students in the coming year. There’s a Chinese family in South Wales behind each student. Teachers work in the front line to contact them on behalf of the church. ‘Start children of on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not urn from it.’ (Prov 2:6)

The University students enroled on Monday. Brothers and sisters of the Student Fellowship distributed flyers of the Welcome Party to them at the busy Park Place. There’re many Chinese, they speak Cantonese, English, but most are from Mainland China speaking Putonghua. We are witneses of Jesus Christ, sharing the love and care of Jesus Christ o these new friends, ‘strangers’ in a foreign land. Sub-committees of different Student Fellowships started to hold meetings to plan for programs to follow-up the new students.

The church has just started a Play Group on Thursday mornings. Most participants are from the local minority groups and their children, some of Chinese. The sisters work diligently as volunteers to help the children enjoy their activities.

Apart from caring for the English-speaking Chinese, the English ministry is now reaching out to other local English-speaking ethnic groups.

In Christ,

Sam Wong
