Dear brothers and sisters,

img01With the introduction of the previous transparencies of the Overhead Projector to today’s Powerpoint via the computer, we haven’t used the song book in the Service for a long time already, we now all lift up our heads to watch the projected lyrics on the wall or screen to sing praises to the Lord.

Enoch held a workshop on the ‘Production of Powerpoint’ in the church last Saturday, aiming to help song-leaders to more effectively use the media in the Service.

Miss Mei-ling So talked on ‘Life in a foreign land’ in Monday’s Fujian Fellowship. How we miss families back home while taking care of families here! These feelings are beyond words.

img02The only solution is to take root in the Eternal Home, seeking refuge in the Creator of the Universe, our Heavenly Father with faith, taking His Word as a lamp for our feet and a light on our path. Then we can understand the meaning of life and that ‘In all things God works for the good of those who love Him.’ (Rom 8:28)

There is always delicious food in the Fujian Fellowship. I ate 3 bowls of Fujian Seafood Congee and was still tempted. Thanks brothers and sisters for their love.

My sister and nephew came to Cardiff this week. I truly thank brothers and sisters for their hospitality and for taking them around.

The Summer Baptismal class starts on 22/5 and some brothers and sisters have already applied for it. Please remember them in prayers.

In Him,
Sam Wong
