Dear brothers and sisters,
The Chinese School End-of-term Ceremony was held last Sunday. All the programs were brilliant and won a lot of applause!
‘Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.’ (Prov 22:6) is the aim of the Chinese School. We teach the children Chinese and Bible, and we keep close contact with the parents, so that we can stand on the truth together and bring the children to God and know Jesus as Saviour and Lord.
The Cantonese and Putonghua Chinese School will split after this summer. The Cantonese Chinese School will run as usual, but the Putonghua Chinese School will be moved to Saturday 10.45am-1pm. With the increase of Putonghua-speaking families in Cardiff and South Wales, we will add a Saturday meeting for the parents, so that they can stay to sing and listen to talks on ‘The relationship between Jesus and us’. There will also be small groups to care for the needs of different families. We pray earnestly that Jesus Christ can enter every Chinese family through this ministry.
The Chinese School held a training session for the teachers on Saturday 4/7 to prepare them in the teaching role and vision.
We thank the Lord for this group of dedicated brothers and sisters who serve diligently in the teaching ministry.
We ask the Lord to grant these brothers and sisters grace, strength, faith and wisdom to serve these little folks with peace and joy every week!
