Dear brothers and sisters,
We started celebrating this Chinese New Year with Hot-pot in the Friday café on 29/1, followed by many more meetings, all are special and creative.
The English group and the PTH student fellowship had a joint meeting on 12/2. It’s a great time to meet and know each other, and everyone looks forward to the next joint activity, probably in April, when the congregation of the 3 language groups will compete in the Church Sports Day.
The PTH Chinese School held their first CNY celebration on 13/2. The performance of the students was extraordinary, and they won a great applause from the audience. We’re thankful for the hard work of the teachers. We plan to change the Saturday Parents Meeting to Saturday Fellowship starting March, please remember this in prayers. Pray that this meeting can more effectively share the gospel with the parents. The Cantonese Chinese School held their CNY celebration on 13/2 with great performance, but I missed most of it as I needed to attend the Newport Sunday Service.
I planned to have a quick nap after the Fujian Fellowship on 15/2, but when I opened my eyes, slowly realizing I had slept for 13 hours. It’s great to sleep so sound!
The meal of the Tuesday 16/2 Micah BS group brought the celebration of the CNY to an end. It’s a great time of greeting each other with blessings.
