Dear brothers and sisters,
The church held a baptismal Service on Easter Sunday, a day to celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Two young people openly proclaimed their faith and confessed Jesus as their Saviour and Lord through baptism. They also invited some friends to attend the Service and shared their testimonies to witness the Lord’s salvation on them.
The Easter Conference was held on 28-31/3 and the theme was ‘Spiritual Wi-Fi’, helping Christians to connect their spiritual lives to the Lord. We thank the two speakers for leading us to true discipleship training through the messages from the four Gospels.
Cherry and I stayed in the campsite this year and I had more time talking with brothers and sisters, and more quiet moments. On Wednesday morning, I prayed with Peter and Chianhong for the gospel work in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and South Wales. Pray that the Lord will raise more dedicated believers to serve Him, and that the Lord will work in the hearts of those who seek Him.
The majority of participants in the EC are University students. I joined different group discussions and they all had different focus, but all leading to the great love of the Lord Jesus. We also had a lot of adorable children this year and they brought a lot of laughter and joy. I thank the Lord for all brothers and sisters who served quietly and diligently in the EC.
May we all be filled with the Holy Spirit and experience the power of the Gospel, and be witnesses of the Lord.
