Dear brothers and sisters,
The Putonghua Service has been moved to 1.30pm starting last Sunday. Praise the Lord, the Putonghua congregation can use the whole Hall and Side Hall, preparation before the Service and group sharing after the meeting become more ideal. The attendance was not affected and there is more space to expand. We look upon the Lord for His grace so that brothers and sisters can grow spiritually and establish the Kingdom of God.
Adolescence is an important stage of life, getting to know oneself through rebellious days. Parents are no more omnipotent; youngsters need to prove themselves among their peers. To learn the Bible in the church to seek the ‘omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent’ will require a process of asking questions. Praise the Lord, the leaders in the Olive Tree and Mustard Seed guide these young people patiently. The annual Summer Camp was held on Tuesday to Friday. Many parents and volunteers serve these young people to help them grow physically, mentally and spiritually. The topic is ‘The days of Youth’. Please pray for the gospel work of the second generation of believers.
The Tuesday Micah Bible Study group members love ‘wechat’ which makes communication much easier, using words, audio, images and video clips. The video clips of the last Baptism were sent to friends everywhere within seconds.
Learning is a lifelong process, I really admire the enthusiasm of the Micah Bible Study group members.
Let us all take root in the Word of God, ‘being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.’ (Phil 1:6)
In Him,
Sam Wong
