Dear brothers and sisters,
The Fujian Bible Study is held every Tuesday 10am. This group was started over 10 years ago, first in a takeaway shop, now in the church, with the children playing on their own in the Children’s Room.
With the growing number of Fujian believers, apart from the Bible Study group, we started a monthly workshop in 2015 to help them further understand the backgrounds of the Bible, the different denominations, Church history and to equip believers to serve the Lord.
The Cantonese Bible Study meets at 11am on Tuesday. The participants thirst for the truth and spiritual growth. After singing, the large group is divided in to 4 small groups and they’re studying the Book of Luke. Learning new songs is to encourage us to care for the world, to experience the Lord’s presence and to understand His teaching.
The Jeremiah Bible Study group meet on alternate Tuesdays at 8pm, to cater for working brothers and sisters who can study the Bible together in the evening. Their determination to set a time to meet despite the pressure of work and family duties is really encouraging. We’re now studying Genesis, Abraham. ‘Abram believed the Lord, and He credited to him as righteousness.’ (Gen 15:6)
The Welsh government encourages people to be more active, our church was given 2 new Ping-pong tables and a serve machine, plus subsidies on coach and First-aid trainings. Apart from our church members, other people come every Tuesday 2-4pm.
The English Session runs a Bible Study group for the High School students from 4 to 6 pm every Tuesday to help participants build up their relationship with God. The young people start exploring faith and life after a simple snack.
The Shining Stars Nursery started last October. A group of lovely and cute kids come to our Llandaff Hall every Tuesday morning!
